Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs won their third Super Bowl in five years in dramatic fashion on Sunday night, beating the San Francisco 49ers, 25-22, in overtime. 

One of the biggest plays of the game came from the Chiefs defense when it stopped the 49ers on a key third-down play with just under two minutes remaining in the fourth quarter. San Francisco then kicked a field goal to go up 19-16, but it allowed Mahomes to get the ball again and force OT with a field goal.

This video from NFL Films gives a great inside look at the play, and it also shows the officials talking before the snap about the importance of keeping the ball out of Mahomes’s hands.
