Ohio State wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. did not appear for his scheduled NFL scouting combine press conference on Friday morning.

“Marvin Harrison is not here. He is not going to be speaking here. I don’t have any other information,” an NFL PR spokesperson told reporters on Friday morning.

The standout wide receiver is expected to be the top pass catcher selected in next month’s draft. He already said he would not be working out at the combine or at Ohio State’s pro day, as he plans to let his résumé speak for itself.

While Harrison is not working out this week in Indianapolis, he did arrive on Thursday to have his measurements taken. Harrison is officially 6' 3 1/4" and 209 lbs. He also has 31.88" arms, 9 1/2" hands and a 77 1/4" wingspan.

Even though Harrison won’t be working out at the combine or pro day, and didn’t speak with the media on Friday morning, don’t expect any deterrence to his draft stock.

Harrison is viewed as a can’t miss prospect due to his production at Ohio State and his lineage as the son of Hall of Fame wide receiver Marvin Harrison.

It would be a surprise to see him slip past the top five picks in April’s NFL draft.
