49ers QB Brock Purdy Marries College Sweetheart

San Francisco 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy already is having quite the offseason, as he married college sweetheart Jenna Brandt on Saturday in Des Moines, Iowa, just a month after playing in Super Bowl LVIII.

The couple met while attending school together at Iowa State. Purdy was selected with the 262nd and last pick of the 2022 NFL draft. Since then, Purdy moved his way up to the starting role under center for San Francisco and took the 49ers to back-to-back NFC championship games. The 49ers lost 25–22 in overtime to the Kansas City Chiefs last month in the Super Bowl.

Throughout Purdy’s young NFL career, Brandt has been by his side.

Pictures of the wedding were posted on social media by TMZ.

It didn’t appear as if any of Purdy’s 49ers teammates were in the wedding party, per the photos osted by TMZ. It’s unknown which, if any, teammates attended the wedding on Saturday.
