Raiders, DL Christian Wilkins Agree to Four-Year Contract, per Report
Christian Wilkins will sign a four-year deal with the Las Vegas Raiders after the new league year begins Wednesday, NFL’s Ian Rapoport reported Monday.
Wilkins and the Raiders agreed to a four-year, $110 million contract that includes $84.75 million in guaranteed money. The 28-year-old defensive tackle is coming off a career-best season with the Miami Dolphins in 2023, but Miami opted against using the franchise tag on Wilkins.
Wilkins, one of the top free agents at his position, will create a formidable duo on Las Vegas’s defensive line alongside pass-rushing star Maxx Crosby.
Last season, Wilkins recorded nine sacks, 61 quarterback pressures, and 23 quarterback hits, all career-highs. His 18 quarterback pressures against double-team blocking ranked fifth-most in the league among eligible defensive tackles, according to NextGen Stats.
Wilkins was the No. 13 pick of the 2019 NFL draft by Miami and has started all 17 games for each of the past three seasons. The Clemson product played a pivotal role in the trenches during the Tigers’ national championship-winning campaigns in 2016 and ’18.
