Former Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce has reportedly lost the Super Bowl ring that he won as part of the franchise's last championship in February of 2018, and the way that he lost it is almost as epic as it is unfortunate.

Kelce said that he lost his Super Bowl ring in a pool of Skyline Chili during the Lombaby Games at last Thursday's New Heights live podcast in Cincinnati.

"There was an unfortunate-ness as you guys know, this game existed because I continuously lose my Super Bowl ring, and I don't even know if Travis still knows this, but I legitimately lost my Super Bowl ring in this event," Kelce said. "They could not find it. ...All of this stuff has been thrown away so I think we can safely assume my Super Bowl ring is now in a landfill someplace in the Cincinnati/tri-state area."

There are ways to lose valuable items, and part of a gameshow for a live podcast is certainly one of them. Thoughts and prayers go out to Kelce and his lost Super Bowl ring that he'll very likely never get back.
