New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers ended his 2023 season, which included him playing in just one drive, a whole $81.14 richer from his performance-based pay.

Yes, you read that right: $81.14.

NFL players are eligible for player performance-based pay each season. Since Rodgers only played in one drive last season before tearing his Achilles and sitting out the rest of the year, his performance-based pay amount is the lowest in the entire NFL.

The performance-based pay for each NFL player is determined on the amount of playing time and whether they have a high or low salary, per ESPN's Adam Schefter. Rodgers has a high salary, but only played in 0.33% of the season's snaps.

Rodgers made $37.5 million last season after he signed a two-year, $75 million deal with the Jets. The quarterback's debut with the Jets was hyped up all offseason just for him to be injured on the first drive he was on the field for.
