Bears GM Ryan Poles Had Perfect Reaction to Falcons Picking Michael Penix Jr.
The Atlanta Falcons shocked the NFL world when they selected former Washington Huskies quarterback Michael Penix Jr. with the No. 8 pick in Thursday night's first round of the 2024 NFL draft.
The move was a total surprise to just about everyone because the Falcons signed veteran signal-caller Kirk Cousins to a massive deal just last month.
One person who was very happy to see the Falcons pick Penix was Bears general manager Ryan Poles, who was able to grab former Washington Huskies wide receiver Rome Odunze with the No. 9 pick.
Poles later had the perfect reaction when he was asked about the Falcons taking Penix:
The move could eventually end up working out for the Falcons but for right now it remains a head-scratcher for just about everyone else.
