Which 49ers Will be Named an All-Pro for the 2023 Season?

The chances are extremely high that the San Francisco 49ers will have quite a few players named as an All-Pro.
In this story:

It's almost time for the Associated Press to reveal their 2023 NFL All-Pro rosters for the first- and second-team.

The chances are extremely high that the San Francisco 49ers will have quite a few players named as one for this reason. So, which 49ers will be named as an All-Pro for the 2023 season? I predict the players that should be given the honor. I won't be including fullback Kyle Juszczyk because he is basically a default.

Trent Williams

I mean, "no duh!" right? One of the easiest locks to make the All-Pro, and for the voters, is offensive tackle Trent Williams. Not even missing three games is enough to dampen the chances he makes it. Williams is sure to make the first-team All-Pro roster. He's the anchor on the 49ers in every facet and it goes beyond how elite he is on the field as a run and pass blocker. It's no coincidence that the 49ers lost all three games that Williams missed, so that actually helps his case (not like he needed it).

George Kittle

It wouldn't have been shocking to see George Kittle lose a step this year. He is getting up there in age and constantly gets injured, but Kittle flipped the script. This year he has proven that he is still an impactful player that defenses want no part of. Kittle led all tight ends this season in receiving yards, yards per receptions, yards per route run, and in passer rating when targeted. He did all of that while being an afterthought in the offense for basically the first half of the season. Kittle is a lock to make first-team All-Pro this year, and it helps that Travis Kelce is clearly on the backend of his career.

Christian McCaffrey

I'm starting to sound like a broken record here. Of course Christian McCaffrey is going to be a first-team All-Pro this year. That is without question. He was in the conversation for MVP this season, which is insane for a running back. The fact that he was in it alone is nothing short of stellar. And he probably would've won it too if Lamar Jackson didn't finish the season strong. Plus, McCaffrey was a scoring and yards machine. He totaled over 2,000 total yards and tallied 21 touchdowns. McCaffrey CLEARs the second-best running back in the league and it goes beyond the numbers. He's such a fantastic influence for the 49ers offense. So much is easier because of him. He's a lock to be named an All-Pro, and it better be the first-team.

Fred Warner

I'm convinced that Fred Warner is half-man, half-heat-seeking-missile. How he is able to pinpoint the football and stop the play at such a high-level consistently is insane. Like McCaffrey on offense, much of what the 49ers do on defense is fantastically influenced because of how well-rounded Warner is. He defends the run well and locks it down in pass coverage. He's also managed to be a turnover machine this year with four interceptions and four forced fumbles. I don't have too strong of a feel as to which team he will make, but I'm confident that Warner will be named as an All-Pro.

Charvarius Ward

Put some respect on the name of Charvarius "Mooney" Ward. Recognition is something he hasn't received enough of, but it looks like with him making his first Pro Bowl that it is starting up. Ward has always been a top-10 cornerback in the league. He may not be a shutdown, eraser level corner, but he is a corner that quarterbacks will look away from or be met with poor results if they try to target him. Ward deserves to be an All-Pro, especially with how he really stepped up in the second-half of the season. He also has the interceptions (5) to prop himself up, which is really unfair because interceptions do not depict if a cornerback is good or not. But at least now he has the performances and the turnovers to make his case finally.
