The Bears and Colts have released fan information about their joint practices Aug. 16 and 17 in the Indianapolis area.

The practices are in advance of the Aug. 19 preseason game at Lucas Oil Stadium, a game with a 6 p.m. (Central time) kickoff.

Practices with the Colts are at 5 p.m. (Central time). They'll be held at the Grand Sports Complex in Westfield, Ind., about 15 miles north of Indianapolis.

The practices are free but fans need to acquire tickets over the internet much like Bears practices at Halas Hall. They need to go to Colts.com/camp.

It's the first time the Bears practiced against another team under coach Matt Eberflus. In 2021 during Matt Nagy's final training camp as coach, the Bears hosted the Miami Dolphins at Halas Hall prior to their preseason game.

"It's exciting to be able to do that," he said. "We've done them in the past. There's a lot of good work during those crossovers.

"The 1-on-1s are really cool to do, the pass rushes and the covers and all those things, the DBs vs. the receivers. You get to go against a different skillset, which is really neat because you get to adjust your skillset to them, your technique. It's going to be fun to be able to see that and evaluate that."
