Bears Lawn Maintenance Equipment Stolen
As if the Bears haven't had a strange enough week.
They can throw one more log on the burning fire but at least can be thankful they're playing on the road this week because it gives them time to get the lawn mowed.
The Bears had grass maintenance equipment valued at over $100,000 stolen from Soldier Field, according to a report by the Chicago ABC7 Digital Team.
The thieves reportedly tore down a security fence to drive the equipment out of the garage sometime Wednesday night.
The stolen equipment included lawn mowers and gators according to the report by ABC Channel 7.
It followed a week when quarterback Justin Fields said he is being overcoached into being robotic in his play, defensive coordinator Alan Willams resigned and starting left tackle Braxton Jones went on injured reserve.
Soldier Field is not owned by the Bears. They lease the stadium from the Chicago Park District.
