New Bears Jersey Numbers

The Chicago Bears assigned numbers to their free agent acquisitions.

The Bears announced their jersey numbers for the players who signed in free agency.

Already known was DJ Moore taking over the No. 2 he wore in Carolina from kicker Cairo Santos. Santos was given No. 8 after the trade was made to acquire Moore, prior to free agency.

The new jersey numbers are:

• 15 Quarterback PJ Walker

• 17 Punter Ryan Anderson

• 18 Tight End Robert Tonyan

• 20 Running Back Travis Homer

• 29 Running Back D'Onta Foreman

• 49 Linebacker Tremaine Edmunds

• 53 Linebacker T.J. Edwards

• 55 Linebacker Dylan Cole

• 64 Guard Nate Davis

• 94 Defensive Lineman Rasheem Green

• 95 Defensive Lineman DeMarcus Walker

• 97 Defensive Tackle Andrew Billings

Bears players are slated to be back at Halas Hall on Monday for the start of offseason  conditioning work. They are limited to weight and running work at this point and no on-field drills.

Their organized team activity practices are set to begin May 22.
