After a third consecutive losing season, the Bears are raising ticket prices.

A letter was sent out to season ticket holders Wednesday by the team saying the prices will increase on average by 8% with some going up 11.3%.

"As part of our 2024 planning, we have spent the last few months evaluating our ticket prices and the market considerations that factor into our business decisions," team president Kevin Warren said. "With careful thought and analysis, our 2024 season ticket package price will increase on average by 8.0% with increases ranging from 6.2% to 11.3%."

The Bears play eight regular-season home games and one preseason game and are also playing a game in Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London.

Warren touted discounts to season ticket holders for concessions at Soldier Field of 20% to 30% in his letter.

He also mentioned the team's attempt to build a domed stadium, apparently either at the Arlington International Racecourse site the team owns or by Soldier Field.

"Additionally, we are making progress on our stadium development plan," Warren said. "Our deliberate and intentional process continues, and when a site is selected and a decision is made we will be sure to communicate the plan for our season ticket holders."

In explaining the ticket increase, Warren also pointed out progress the team is making.

"I am encouraged by the championship mindset of our coaches, our roster and our culture, and the decisions we are making this offseason will put us on a track of excellence and championships," he said.
