What Teven Jenkins Return Means for Bears Line

Bears Injury Report: Right guard practices on Friday and could return from a hip injury
In this story:

Bears guard Teven Jenkins and defensive end Al-Quadin Muhammad both missed last week's game and pratices Wednesday and Thursday.

Their time away ended, however, on Friday as both returned for fiull practices and it's possible both starters will return for Sunday's game in Atlanta. Both players are listed as questionable.

Jenkins was replaced in last week's game by guard Michael Schofield while Dominique Robinson had started for Muhammad.

It will be the seventh different lineup for the offensive line if they're able to start Jenkins at right guard and fifth different starting lineup in five weeks.

Jenkins has been one of their highest-rated blockers throughout the season, according to Pro Football Focus.

"He's improving," coach Matt Eberflus said of Jenkins' condition. "He's dealing with something right now but he's improving and we'll see where it goes the next 48 hours."

Cornerback Kindle Vildor is also questionable but seems less likely to miss the game than either Jenkins or Muhammad because he returned for a full practice Friday and had practiced Thursday on a limited basis.

The only players listed as out for the Bears are safety Dan Cruikshank (hamstring) and wide receiver N'Keal Harry (illness).

Kyler Gordon, who had been limited on Wednesday due to a knee issue, is no longer on the injury report. Neither is tight end Cole Kmet, who had missed part of Wednesday's practice with a thigh injury suffered Sunday against Detroit.

For Atlanta, safety Erik Harris (foot) and cornerback A.J. Terrell (hamstring) are questionable. TE Feleipe Franks (calf) is out.
