CINCINNATI — The Bengals have a very manageable schedule any way you slice it. That's especially true when it comes to opposing quarterbacks based on The Athletic's QB Tiers-based Strength of Schedule.

Joe Burrow and the Bengals checked in with the fourth-easiest quarterback schedule. Mike Sando has them facing a 2.88-average QB tier throughout the season.

"Burrow’s injury last season delivered a fourth-place schedule (hello, Jacoby Brissett and Will Levis)," Sando wrote."That last-place divisional finish also helped Cincy draw Carolina and Bryce Young for its 17th opponent. The Bengals play seven games against Tier 4 quarterbacks, tied with the Chargers, Jaguars, Bears, and Falcons for most in the NFL."

Cincinnati only plays six games against quarterbacks rated Tier 2 or higher, with four of those contests coming in Week 8 and beyond. They have a major opportunity to start fast for the first time in the Burrow era and turn their normal late-season surge into a cushion instead of a necessity.

The first Tier 4 matchup arrives next Sunday against Jacoby Brissett and the Patriots.
