Bengals Select Oklahoma Offensive Tackle Anton Harrison In Draft Network, PFF Mock Drafts
CINCINNATI — The Bengals selected the same offensive lineman in two of the latest major mock drafts.
PFF and The Draft Network have Cincinnati taking Oklahoma offensive tackle Anton Harrison 28th overall.
"Jonah Williams has been up and down in his career," The Draft Network's Damian Parson wrote. "The Bengals HAVE to find a way to shore up protection in front of Joe Burrow. Anton Harrison has the athletic movement skills and play strength to make an impact early in his career. Harrison would be an answer for the long-term LT situation, allowing Williams to walk after his contract expires."
PFF had similar thoughts on the mauler.
"Harrison is a battle-tested offensive tackle prospect," Trevor Sikkema wrote. "Who shows an impressive feel for pass protection. He needs to improve his strength, but he allowed just five sacks in three years as a starter."
Harrison played in 25 games over the last two seasons, earning a 72.6 PFF grade this past season. The 6-foot-5, 315-pound tackle is ranked 33rd on the consensus big board and Cincinnati is his most popular landing spot over the past week (15% of mock drafts).
PFF also had Cincinnati selecting tight end Sam LaPorta with the 60th pick.
LaPorta is the 81st-ranked player on the consensus big board and the sixth-best tight end.
