CINCINNATI — Joe Burrow is well aware of what needs to happen around the Bengals to get into the AFC playoffs. Cincinnati could use a Chargers win against the Broncos tomorrow on top of more results down the stretch.

The Bengals' top player commented on what he's paying attention to.

"Big game tomorrow," Burrow said on Wednesday to our James Rapien about the Thursday Night Football clash.

He is just like Bengals fans when it comes to postgame-scoreboard watching for results that favor Cincinnati. The life of an elite quarterback trying to lift a 6-8 team to the improbable. Losses this weekend by the Colts (home against the Titans) and the Dolphins (home against the 49ers) would benefit Burrow's Bengals as well.

"You pay attention usually just after your game you go and check if things happened that you needed to happen," Burrow said. "This is the time of the year that you're always paying attention to that. Whether you're in our spot or whether it's seeding and you're already in the playoffs. You're always paying attention."

Cincinnati's playoff odds roughly triple in likelihood by winning out over the last three weeks with at least a Broncos loss on Thursday added in before other results. A big game indeed.
