Cam Taylor-Britt Offers Simple Solution to Bengals' Struggles on Defense

Easier said than done.

CINCINNATI — The Bengals' defense has been one of the worst units in the NFL this season.

“We’ve been playing like sh-t,” veteran cornerback Mike Hilton said on Thursday.

Cam Taylor-Britt echoed a similar sentiment—but both guys believe the defense can turn it around starting on Sunday night against the Giants.

"Fire. A fire lit," Taylor-Britt said. "From play one to zero, zero, zero on the clock."

What do they need to do?

"Turnovers," he said bluntly. "Get Joe (Burrow) the ball back. We'll win games when we win the turnover battle. Play with lights out, play with a fire."

The Bengals have forced five turnovers and they also have five turnovers this season. They need to force more turnovers on defense, especially since they've given up so many yards (1,827) and points (145). Only the Panthers have given up more points (160) entering Week 6.
