CBS Sports Identifies Joe Burrow's Health as Bengals' Biggest Red Flag Entering 2024 Season

Cincinnati needs to keep their top guy healthy.

CINCINNATI — CBS Sports released its biggest red flags for the 20 projected NFL teams that could contend for the playoffs this coming season and they landed Cincinnati with the clearest roadblock to success: Joe Burrow's health going south again.

Cincinnati's top player has finished two of his four NFL seasons.

"Obvious, yes, but facts are facts: Burrow is an MVP-level quarterback when at full strength," Cody Benjamin wrote."He's also missed extensive time due to injury in two of his four NFL seasons. Cincinnati shuffled its front once again, adding Trent Brown at right tackle, but if Burrow can't stay close to 100%, it might not matter."

The Bengals coaching staff and Burrow are clearly doing all they can to rest him when needed this offseason and onboard him to be ready to fire off in Week 1.
