Bengals RB Joe Mixon Fined For Coin Flip Celebration in Week 18 Win Over Ravens
CINCINNATI — Bengals running back Joe Mixon took a shot at the NFL's playoff rule changes that went into effect last week prior to their Week 18 matchup with the Ravens.
He did a coin flip celebration after scoring a one-yard touchdown in the 27-16 win.
Mixon hadn't been fined as of Thursday morning. That changed when his agent Peter Schaffer called him to let him know that he had been fined according to our own Elise Jesse.
The NFL is fining Mixon $13,261. He plans to appeal it.
"I'm gonna go ahead and appeal it for sure if that were to happen," Mixon said when asked about a possible fine.

Cincinnati and Baltimore run it back in the Wild Card round on Sunday at 8:15 p.m. ET. The game is available on NBC via fuboTV—start your free trial here.
