Look: Bengals Safety Geno Stone Performing The Worst Among Anyone Playing Position
CINCINNATI — The Bengals' safeties have played awful so far this season and Geno Stone is at the heart of that issue. He is a far cry from the level he showed last year en route to the second-most interceptions in the NFL (seven).
So far this season, Stone's been the worst safety in the NFL. Among players to log at least 75 snaps, Stone is tied with Miami's Jordan Poyer at a 37.8 PFF grade (84th out of 84 qualified names).
He's been horrific in just about every facet of the game, missing seven tackles (including four against the Ravens), all while allowing two touchdowns to just one pass breakup in five games. Stone has to turn this around or it may be time to go deeper into the bench.
It can't get much worse when you're rolling out this level of play week to week.
