Look: NFL World Reacts to Bengals New Contracts With Ja'Marr Chase, Tee Higgins

An important day in Bengals history.

CINCINNATI — The Bengals locked in Ja'Mar Chase and Tee Higgins on new contracts for at least the next four years. It was the most significant NFL news of the weekend and sparked plenty of reaction from former Bengals, NFL voices, and more.

Chase is now dialed in with Cincinnati for the next five seasons at an average of $36.56 million per season. Meanwhile, Higgins can earn up to $30 million per season in each of the next four campaigns if he hits his max incentives.

It was a big night for the franchise's top wide receivers, guaranteeing huge money in the second year of contracts to join Joe Burrow on that front. Check out reaction to the deals below:

Good on the Bengals for getting both Chase and Tee done. It wasn't an optimal process by any means, but Cincinnati has worked to (relatively) modernize their cap/cash management, which was integral to getting these deals done.

It's totally okay for the Bengals to pay a QB and two WRs with their pass volume and the way Joe Burrow operates. It just could've been a bit cheaper if they acted last year or without the NFL Combine comments.
