Madden 23 Ratings: Ja'Marr Chase Narrowly Cracks Top-25 Among Pass-Catchers

The braintrust at EA Sports isn't gushing over Chase's record-breaking rookie season.

CINCINNATI — Madden Ratings week is upon us, and the Bengals wide receivers have their ratings for the latest edition of the game.

Ja'Marr Chase blew up nearly every coverage he faced in 2021, but EA Sports wasn't convinced enough to make him an elite-pass catcher. The Bengals top wideout is ranked 25th among pass-catchers with an 87 overall rating.

Slot maven Tyler Boyd checked in next at No. 39 with an 84 overall rating. Tee Higgins rounds out the starting trio of Bengals receivers ranked 46th with an 83 overall rating.

The rest of the rated Bengals went in this order: Hayden Hurst (76 overall), Trent Taylor (70 overall), Drew Sample (69 overall), Mike Thomas (68 overall), Stanley Morgan (68 overall), Pooka Williams (65), Trenton Irwin (63).
