Report: Ja'Marr Chase Participates in Consecutive Bengals Practices
CINCINNATI — The Bengals reportedly had Ja'Marr Chase as a full participant at practice again on Monday following participation on Sunday. The Athletic's Dianna Russini reported the involvement with the wide receiver looking like he's ramping up to play next Sunday against New England.
Having him back to start fast against a relatively light early schedule is crucial for Cincinnati.
Nothing's confirmed yet on his status for the opener but back-to-back days of practice is a great sign. Chase didn't suit up once during training camp as he continues searching for a new contract amidst the ever-changing wide receiver financial landscape.
CeeDee Lamb just got his new deal, checking in only below Justin Jefferson on the all-time non-quarterback contracts list. Chase is primed to follow suit, whether in the next week or beyond.
