Report: Veteran Cornerback Xavien Howard Visiting Bengals
CINCINNATI — The Bengals could be adding a free-agent cornerback.
NFL media's Mike Garafolo reported Xavien Howard is in town meeting with the team this week ahead of their matchup with the Chargers.
The Bengals cornerback depth has been tested by bad play and injuries over the first 10 games and the veteran could be a salve, although that's not likely. He has graded below 60 overall on PFF in each of the past two seasons on 1,790 combined snaps.
He is also 31 years old and has not played in 2024.
