Bengals Defensive End Sam Hubbard Hosts Annual Fowling Charity Event

Cincinnati Bengals Defensive End Sam Hubbard Hosts Annual Fowling Charity Event
In this story:

Sam Hubbard hosted his annual Fowling Tournament Thursday night. Current and alumni Bengals players, fans, and supporters participated in a night of fun playing in the tournament of a game that combines football and bowling.

Proceeds from the event will benefit the Sam Hubbard Foundation

The Cincinnati native launched his Foundation in 2021 to fight hunger and provide those in his hometown and surrounding communities with resources, experiences, and support to help reach their full potential.

Hubbard was nominated by the Bengals for the Walter Payton Man of the Year Award in 2021, which recognizes an NFL player for their accolades on and off the field.

Along with the fowling event, Hubbard’s outreach acts have included a youth football camp with an emphasis on reserving spots for underprivileged children by partnering with local non-profits; a Thanksgiving meal drive providing over 150 meals to Cincinnati COOKS! and Lighthouse Youth Services; Shop with Sam gifting twenty students from the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Cincinnati a shopping spree to purchase Christmas presents, and ‘Ohio Fed’ collaboration with Homage to benefit Freestore Foodbank and his Foundation.

The defensive end is entering the first year of his four-year contract extension with the Bengals. Hubbard continues to build his legacy in his hometown on and off the field.
