Sam Hubbard Misses Bengals Opening Practice Ahead of Houston Matchup

Cincinnati has two games in the next eight days.

CINCINNATI — Sam Hubbard (ankle) joined Tee Higgins and Ja'Marr Chase as additions to this week's injury report. The Bengals' defensive end roughed up his ankle against the Bills and missed Wednesday's practice.

Hubbard has been one of the team's best defenders this season with 29 pressures and four sacks. The team will turn to Joseph Ossai and Myles Murphy if Hubbard (69.2 PFF run defense grade, second on the team) can't go in Sunday's Houston matchup

Cincinnati has plenty of injuries to monitor as the season takes its toll at the midpoint.
