CINCINNATI — Zac Taylor provided the latest update on Orlando Brown Jr. (knee/fibula) and other Bengals injuries coming off of the bye week.

Cincinnati plays Pittsburgh at home this weekend and could use as many players as possible to stay alive in the AFC playoff race. Taylor noted Sheldon Rankins has a viral infection after he wasn't spotted at Monday's practice. Brown was at practice but Taylor declared it's too early in the week to gauge his status.

"I'll hit the other injuries as we get to Wednesday and see where guys stand," Taylor said about the ailments.

Brown's missed three games this season due to injury and it forced Amarius Mims and Cody Ford into action. Charlie Jones (groin) was not spotted at Monday's practice, while Joe Bachie (hip) was back on the field.
