Bengals Get Multiple Big Board Steals in Major Three-Round Mock Draft

CINCINNATI — Field Yates and Mel Kiper Jr. released their latest mock draft for ESPN and have picks for the Bengals across the first three rounds. The Bengals started with Oregon State offensive tackle Taliese Fuaga in the first round.
Fuaga is the consensus 15th-best player overall and the third-ranked tackle.
"This feels like a dream scenario for Cincinnati, which can continue to invest along the offensive line even after inking Trent Brown to a one-year deal," Yates wrote. "Fuaga epitomizes toughness on the field but also has nifty feet and agility to hold up as a pass-protector against speedy edge rushers."
Next, Cincinnati went with a big board steal in Illinois defensive tackle Johnny Newton at Pick 49.
He is the consensus 25th-best player overall and second-best defensive tackle.
"I'm a little lower on Newton than a few NFL teams that think he will go in Round 1," Kiper wrote. "But this feels like a solid fit and value for the Bengals, whose front seven had a tough 2023."
Cincinnati rolled offense next with UCF wide receiver Javon Baker at Pick 80.
Baker is the consensus 94th-best player overall and 18th-best wide receiver.
"With Tee Higgins' future in Cincinnati still a bit murky after his trade request, the Bengals can get some insurance late on Day 2," Yates wrote. "But even if Higgins stays put, Cincinnati could use depth at the position since Tyler Boyd is still unsigned."
The picks closed with Michigan running back Blake Corum at Pick 97.
He is the consensus 71st-ranked player overall and third-best running back.
"With Joe Mixon gone, Corum would have a chance to compete for carries as a rookie," Kiper wrote. "Corum is a little undersized at 5-foot-8 and 205 pounds, but he can break tackles. He is Michigan's all-time leader in rushing touchdowns (58), total touchdowns (61) and points scored (356)."
