CINCINNATI — The Cincinnati Bengals are out of the 2023 NFL playoff race following a loss to the Chiefs. Week 18 results do not matter as the Steelers won their matchup against Seattle to guarantee a tiebreaker over Cincinnati.

It ends a brutal season of injury for a Bengals team, still searching for its first Super Bowl. Now, all eyes are on Joe Burrow's return from wrist surgery and what to do about a defense that deteriorated in 2023.
