New England Patriots Name Starting QB For Regular Season Opener Against Cincinnati Bengals

CINCINNATI — The Bengals play the Patriots in 10 days at Paycor Stadium in the regular season opener. Jacoby Brissett will start for New England according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.

Rookie Drake Maye will be Brissett's backup. The Bengals are hoping to win their season opener for the first time since 2021.
