'They're Not Going to Want us in This Tournament' - Zac Taylor Discusses Bengals Playoff Hopes
CINCINNATI — Zac Taylor is confident in his team if they can somehow overcome the odds and get help to make the NFL playoffs on Sunday.
The Bengals dance into the Wild Card round if the Jets beat Miami and Kansas City beats Denver. They gave themselves a chance after a strong defensive effort against Pittsburgh. Russell Wilson's offense produced just 3.3 yards per play on Saturday night.
"Capable of everything, they're not going to want us in this tournament, I promise you," Taylor noted after the 19-17 win.
Taylor confirmed the work continues for him and his staff heading into Sunday. They now prepare to face Buffalo next weekend on the road. Cincinnati is guaranteed to battle the two-seeded Bills if they get into the playoffs.
"We gotta get to work, Taylor said about the plan moving forward. "Coaching staff we gotta prepare for Buffalo, at least we know who we'd be playing."
Cincinnati capped the season with a win over Pittsburgh for their a fifth victory in a row.
