Cincinnati Bengals Make Flurry of Roster Moves With Final Cuts Eight Days Away

In this story:

CINCINNATI — The Bengals placed Chris Evans and D'Ante Smith on injured reserve. Both veterans suffered knee injuries last week in Cincinnati's joint practice with Chicago and will miss the entire 2024 season.

The Bengals also waived defensive tackle Devonnsha Maxwell. The Bengals have four open spots on the 90-man roster. They have to trim the roster to 53 by Tuesday, Aug. 27 at 4 p.m. ET.
