Will Cincinnati Bengals Wear Throwback Uniforms and Helmets?

A new NFL rule gives Bengals a chance to add a third helmet.

CINCINNATI — The Bengals got new uniforms ahead of the 2021 season. Since then, we've seen white helmets and color rush uniforms.

Could throwback uniforms be next?

The NFL is allowing teams to add a third helmet design for the 2025 season. That means the Bengals could add another uniform, including a throwback and have helmets to match. The new helmets would have to match the color scheme and design of the uniforms they pair them with. They could also add another helmet that pairs with their current uniforms.

It won't happen this year, but the door is open for the Bengals to add throwbacks. Check out the announcement and some of the designs below:
