The Latest on the Cincinnati Bengals' Injuries, Including Updates on Trae Waynes and Larry Ogunjobi

Here's the latest injury news from training camp.

CINCINNATI — The Bengals are in a good spot health wise, with their first preseason game just six days away.

Cincinnati wrapped up their third-straight day of practice on Sunday. They're off on Monday, which could bode well for some of the players nursing nagging injuries.

Cornerback Trae Waynes was back on the practice field. He did some team work, but was still limited.

There's some hope that defensive tackle Larry Ogunjobi can practice this week. He tweaked his hamstring and hasn't been able to practice since camp started.

"I wouldn't be surprised if we see him this week. We have the day off tomorrow. Today is more of a special teams emphasis, tomorrow's a day off," Taylor said. "And then we got a three-day stretch before we go play Tampa, so the plan would be to try to get him back and do some work during those three days."

Guard Quinton Spain is also expected to be back this week. Unfortunately Fred Johnson (quad) is expected to be out at least another week.

Defensive end Trey Hendrickson missed practice on Saturday and Sunday, but he's expected to be back on the field when the team resumes camp on Tuesday.

Cornerback Eli Apple could be back in action this week. Safety Ricardo Allen is expected to miss at least a week.

None of the injuries appear to be that serious, which is good news for the overall outlook of the team.
