Bengals' Offensive Line Ranked Eighth Best in NFL According to Pro Football Focus
CINCINNATI — The Bengals' offensive line was their biggest weakness last season.
They added three veterans in free agency in hopes of fixing their issues in the trenches. The additions of Alex Cappa, Ted Karras and La'el Collins impressed Pro Football Focus.
The Bengals are ranked eighth in their offensive line rankings.
"This is the most improved offensive line in the NFL, at least on paper," Mike Renner wrote. "Ted Karras (72.4 grade in 2021), Alex Cappa (71.3) and La’el Collins (80.2) all represent significant upgrades over the Bengals' 2021 starters at those respective positions. Add to that the fact that Jonah Williams and Jackson Carman are both high draft picks on rookie deals who could develop in 2022, and it’s easy to see why hopes are high in Cincinnati."
The Bengals are in PFF's second tier, behind the Eagles, Browns, Lions, Buccaneers, Packers, Cowboys and Patriots.
If Cincinnati does have the eighth best offensive line in the NFL, then they should have one of the leagues best offenses.
