Bengals Place Tight End Drew Sample on Injured Reserve
CINCINNATI — The Bengals officially placed tight end Drew Sample on injured reserve on Monday morning. The veteran underwent knee surgery last week and will likely miss the rest of the 2022 season.
Cincinnati currently has 51 players on their roster, which means they'll likely activate a player or two from injured reserve in the near future. Rookie cornerback Cam Taylor-Britt and safety Tycen Anderson are two potential options.
The Bengals could also sign a free agent. We'll have the latest throughout the week ahead of Sunday's matchup with the Ravens.
