CINCINNATI — The Bills are traveling back to Buffalo early Tuesday morning following the postponement of their game against the Bengals on Monday Night Football.

Safety Damar Hamlin collapsed in the first quarter of the game after tackling Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins. He was on the field for 19 minutes, as doctors administered CPR and treated the 24-year-old.

Hamlin is currently at UC Medical Center, just a few miles from Paycor Stadum.

Multiple Bills players visited him on Monday night, including wide receiver Stefon Diggs. Bengals head coach Zac Taylor also went to the hospital.

It's unclear if the game will be resumed at a later date.

"There’s nothing in consideration right now," NFL Executive Vice President of Communications Jeff Miller said. "Our concern is for the player and his well-being. At the appropriate time, I’m sure that we’ll have a conversation around the next steps regarding the game."

The Bengals are scheduled to play the Ravens on Sunday, Jan 8. Meanwhile, the Bills are scheduled to wrap up the regular season against the Patriots.
