Brian Callahan Not Concerned About Balancing Titans Prep With Upcoming Interview With Broncos

The third-year offensive coordinator is set to interview with Denver.

CINCINNATI — Bengals offensive coordinator has helped Joe Burrow become one of the best young quarterbacks in the NFL. 

On Thursday, Callahan is going to interview for the Broncos head coaching job. He spent seven seasons as an assistant in Denver and won a Super Bowl. 

How is Callahan balancing his upcoming interview with his weekly game planning for Saturday's divisional round playoff game against the Titans?

"Really easy. My focus is 100% on this game and to our players. There's no other focus for me," Callahan said on Wednesday. "It's an honor to be included in a process like that, but I would never take anything away from my preparation for a game of this magnitude.

"Anything that I do outside of that framework is on my own time. It's late at night, early in the morning."

The Broncos are casting a wide net for their head coaching vacancy, but it wouldn't be surprising if Callahan emerged as a serious candidate. He'll meet with Denver virtually on Thursday.
