Brian Callahan on Tee Higgins' Touchdown Catch: 'Probably The Best One I've Ever Seen'

Higgins' touchdown helped Cincinnati rally from a 14-point fourth quarter deficit.
In this story:

CINCINNATI — Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins made an acrobatic 21-yard touchdown catch against the Vikings to force overtime in Week 15. Cincinnati went on to win the game 27-24

The play impressed Vikings star wide receiver Justin Jefferson. It also got the attention of Bengals offensive coordinator Brian Callahan.

"Probably the best one I've ever seen," Callahan said when asked about the catch. "The way Tee broke the route off, came back to the ball, beat the DB to the spot, getting both feet down and then whatever that circus act was where he like spins back. I can't even move my arm that far, but to spin back and reach ball across. I mean that was just one of those just totally freakish plays. I mean it was unbelievable. I'll remember that one for a long time, just for the sheer physical freakiness of it all. Guys don't make plays like that very often."

Callahan has been around the NFL his entire life. That's a high compliment to Higgins. It was a spectacular play.

Higgins finished with 61 yards and two touchdowns against the Vikings. The Bengals will lean on the 24-year-old even more than normal this week with Ja'Marr Chase expected to be out with a shoulder injury.

Higgins has 36 catches for 497 yards and four touchdowns in 10 games this season.
