CINCINNATI — Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson restructured his contract with the team on Friday. Cleveland still owes the veteran $92 million guaranteed.

The restructure allows Cleveland to spread the dead cap hit over two years, instead of taking it all in 2027 according to Tom Pelissero of NFL Network.

Ian Rapoport is reporting that the deal is a sign that Watson will be on the Browns' roster in 2025 and 2026.

That's a major development in the AFC North—especially for one of the Bengals' division rivals.

Watson suffered a season-ending Achilles injury in the Browns' loss to the Bengals in October.
