Browns vs Bengals: Which Trio Would You Take?

Pro Football Focus posed an interesting question.

CINCINNATI — The Bengals and the Browns played two entertaining games in 2020, with Cleveland winning by five points or less in both matchups.

The Battle of Ohio is more interesting than it's been in decades with guys like Joe Burrow, Baker Mayfield, Odell Beckham Jr. and Joe Mixon leading the way for their respective teams.

Pro Football Focus posed an interesting question involving the Browns and Bengals.

Which three-player core would you rather build a team around?

The trio of Baker Mayfield, Myles Garrett and Denzel Ward is certainly more proven than Burrow, Jessie Bates and Ja'Marr Chase. Garrett is the best player of the six and Ward is a high-end cornerback when healthy.

Burrow could easily pass Mayfield this season, but it's hard to put him ahead of the Browns quarterback after just 10 NFL starts.

Chase could also pass Ward, but that won't be easy to do as a rookie.

The Browns have one of the most talented rosters in the NFL. If the Bengals are ever going to catch them, they need Burrow, Bates and Chase to lead the way.
