Cardinals Wide Receiver A.J. Green Continues to Impress During in Training Camp

The seven-time Pro Bowler is impressing his new team.

CINCINNATI — Former Bengals star A.J. Green is off to a good start in Cardinals training camp.

He's received plenty of praise from the coaching staff and quarterback Kyler Murray.

"Lots of people thought A.J. Green was done. Different story playing out here [at camp]," Albert Breer tweeted. "Cards love him, good [relationship] with Kyler. Interesting stat they had: 1/3 of his '20 targets were uncatchable balls."

This isn't the first time Green has received praise during camp.

"Green looks incredible out there," Peter Schrager of NFL Network tweeted earlier this month.

Green's health will always be a question mark. The 33-year-old is currently dealing with a minor injury, but he's not in danger of missing the regular season opener according to Cardinals head coach Kliff Kingsbury.

It would be great to see Green bounce back and play well after struggling last season. He signed a one-year, $6 million deal with the Cardinals in March. He spent the first 10 years of his career in Cincinnati.

Green is second in Bengals history in multiple receiving categories including receptions (649), yards (9,430) and touchdowns (65).
