CINCINNATI — The Bengals brought in Olympic wrestler Mason Parris for a workout on Monday afternoon.

Parris represented the United States in the 2024 Summer Olympics. Now he's hoping to make the leap to the NFL.

He worked out at both defensive end and linebacker. Parris is a Lawrenceburg, Indiana native.

The 24-year-old attended the University of Michigan where he won the national heavyweight title.

The Bengals play the Patriots in six days in the season opener. Parris could be someone they add to the 90-man roster after the season. It would give him an entire offseason to focus on football training and work with an NFL staff.
