Cincinnati Bengals Make Flurry of Roster Moves Ahead of Friday's Practice

The Bengals had three open spots on their roster.

CINCINNATI — The Bengals made a flurry of roster moves ahead of Friday's session.

They signed cornerback Nate Brooks, tight end Hakeem Butler and punter Ryan Rehkow.

Butler, 28, is the reigning UFL Offensive Player of the Year. He led the league with 652 receiving yards on 45 receptions, averaging 14.5 yards-per-catch. He also had five touchdowns. He'll move to tight end in the NFL, but gives the Bengals another tall, athletic option that could be a weapon in the passing game.

Brooks has appeared in four regular season games and was in training camp with the 49ers last season. He's also spent time with the Cardinals. The 27-year-old recently earned All-UFL honors for the Michigan Panthers.

The Bengals have reached the 90-man limit on their roster.
