Cincinnati Bengals May Face New England Patriots Rookie QB Drake Maye in Season Opener
CINCINNATI — The Bengals might face Drake Maye in two weeks when they host the Patriots in the regular season opener for both teams at Paycor Stadium.
Veteran Jacoby Brissett left Sunday's game against the Commanders with an injury. Couple that with a touchdown drive for Maye and it would appear that there's a real chance the third overall pick starts against the Bengals on Sept. 8
The Bengals are hoping to win their first regular season opener since 2021. They've started 0-2 the past two seasons. Watch video of Maye and Brissett's injury below:
