Cincinnati Bengals Not Expected to Reach Long-Term Deal With Ja'Marr Chase

CINCINNATI — The Bengals aren't expected to reach a long-term agreement with wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase according to ESPN's Jordan Schultz.
The two sides "couldn't bridge the gap" according to Schultz.
Chase went through his normal pregame routine on Sunday, but is questionable with an illness.
The 24-year-old is under contract for the next two seasons. The Bengals and Chase are expected to resume contract talks next offseason.
Sources: A deal between Ja'Marr Chase and the #Bengals is “not expected” to happen. After months of negotiations, the two sides couldn’t bridge the gap, and Cincinnati was unwilling to compromise.
