Cincinnati Bengals Put in Waiver Claim on Veteran Pass Rusher Yannick Ngakoue
CINCINNATI — The Bengals put in a waiver claim for defensive end Yannick Ngakoue according to ESPN's Field Yates.
Ngakoue was released by the Ravens on Thursday. The former Pro Bowler ended up with the Patriots because New England had priority over Cincinnati.
Ngakoue had 1.5 sacks and five tackles in five games for Baltimore this season. The Bengals put in two claims on Friday: one for Ngakoue and one for rookie receiver and kick returner Isaiah Williams.
Cincinnati landed Williams, who was waived by Detroit earlier this week.
