CINCINNATI — The Bengals signed Raymond Johnson III to the practice squad on Wednesday. The 25-year-old is a second-year player out of Georgia Southern University.

Johnson spent the 2022 season on the Bengals' practice squad. He was on Detroit's practice squad in 2023.

He hasn't been on an NFL team over the past six weeks. He spent the offseason with the 49ers and Jaguars, before being waived by Jacksonville during final cuts.

Johnson played 15 games for the Giants in 2021, racking up four tackles and one sack. He takes the Bengals' final spot on the practice squad. The spot opened up with Isaiah Thomas signed with the Lions.
