Cincinnati Bengals Won't Face Davante Adams After Las Vegas Raiders Make Blockbuster Trade
CINCINNATI — Davante Adams is headed to the New York Jets.
The Raiders are sending the former All-Pro wide receiver to New York in exchange for a conditional third round pick according to Tom Pelissero of NFL Network. The pick has a chance to become a second rounder.
The Bengals play the Raiders on Nov. 3. That means they won't have to worry about Adams when they play Las Vegas later this month. It's also a positive that Adams didn't end up in Kansas City, Buffalo or another true AFC contender.
It's also worth noting that former Bengals head coach Marvin Lewis is on Antonio Pierce's coaching staff in Las Vegas.
