Evan McPherson Expected to Miss Time With Groin Injury, Bengals Signing Veteran Cade York
CINCINNATI — Bengals kicker Evan McPherson is expected to miss "a few weeks" with a groin injury according to Mike Garafolo of NFL Network.
Cincinnati worked out multiple kickers on Wednesday and will sign veteran Cade York to the practice squad ahead of Monday night's game against Dallas.
York previously played for the Browns and Commanders. He missed both of his attempts for the Commanders earlier this season and finished 24-of-32 on field goal attempts for the Browns in 2022.
York was on the 2019 LSU National Championship team led by Joe Burrow and Ja'Marr Chase.
